You have to call the secretary first to make an appointment. You will need to bring two proofs of domicile, shot records, birth certificate, and a driver's license. If you are residing with someone else, you and the homeowner/renter must first go to the Charles County Board of Education to show proof of residency.

School starts at 9:20 AM.  Students may enter the building from 9 - 9:20 AM.  If you arrive after 9:20 AM, please park in the parking lot and walk your child in to the main office to sign them in.

Contact the teacher via email or telephone to request a day to observe a classroom. Teachers should be provided at least two days notice for an observation. You can observe two 45 minute classes/lessons per visit. In the event you have been unsuccessful with scheduling the observation with the teacher please contact an administrator. Administration will schedule the observation with the teacher and update you with the date and time. 

Call or email the staff member directly to set up a conference. You may also reach out to the school counselor to set up a conference.

Yes, you are welcome to schedule a visit during your child's lunch period to eat lunch with him or her. Please fill out the form click here, providing at least two day notice. You may bring lunch for your child, or you and your child may purchase a lunch from the cafeteria.

The parent will have to send an email or note with the name of the person picking up the child. The designated person should also be in the system as an approved person to pick up the student. Please call the school to receive an authorization form to add an additional person to the approved pick up list. All persons must have valid identification in order to pick up a student.

Send an email or call the Assistant Principal indicating the date of the change, bus number,  and the address of your child’s destination/bus for that day.  As we can not guarantee a request due to capacity limits etc., however we will do our best to make accommodations. If the child is in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First or Second Grade, they must also have a name of the adult who will be meeting them at the bus stop. For any ongoing or reoccurring situations, transportation must approve the change. If your student does not have this approval, they must ride the bus designated by the school-locator.
