Hello Mustang Family!

I am Betsy Neese and I am so excited to be the Malcolm Elementary School Counselor! My role as a school counselor is to be able to help ALL students not only with their academics, but also in their career goals and their social/emotional development. My goal is to help all students have equitable education across the span of their learning and to ensure that they are successful and productive life-long learners.

A little about me! I have lived in Charles County for just over three years. I recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with my Masters Degree in Education with a focus on Human Development Counseling. My favorite place to be outside of school is with my family at the beach! Prior to becoming a school counselor, I served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years. Most importantly, I am very much looking forward to getting to know all of the families of Malcolm Elementary and strengthening our community by supporting our children!
